All About the Frame TV!
We are so excited to talk to you guys about this TV! I have not gotten excited about a new piece of "technology' in years...okay, ever. Our living room TV had been lagging a bit. This did not fly with Ty on college football Saturdays. Being a kind wife, I encouraged Ty to research TV's...specifically the Frame TV, which I had heard several bloggers mention prior. (Ty, who had never heard me "encourage" him to look for a new TV, realized that this gift was as much for me as it was for him!) The Frame is much more than a TV...it's also artwork!
Here are links to the TV. We have the 55." and it's an amazing size for most rooms!

We have had this TV for six months, and are thrilled to say that we love it. Here are all the juicy details:
Ty is happy to report that the 4K resolution is spectacularly clear, while I am happy to report that this is the prettiest TV that I have ever seen!
When the TV is "off" it displays artwork. There is an optional motion sensor so that the artwork turns off when you are not in the room for a certain amount of time (like overnight). When it senses motion, or light, it turns the artwork back on!
The TV comes with a flush wall mount which I LOVE! Our old TV used to stick out several inches from the wall. This TV does not (we have not installed our mount yet).
This is a Smart TV so it comes preloaded automically loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV, Amazon, etc.
I also applaud Samsung for finally coming up with a good solution for those bulky cords! Honestly, it's 2020 and cars can drive themselves...why in the heck do we still have to deal with a handful of black cords running to our TV's? While this TV is not cordless, it only has one, clear cord. Hats off to you, Samsung.
And the BEST PART....The Frame TV is loaded with several art options. You can purchase additional art through the site. We prefer to set our own artwork through the Samsung app. We uploaded about 30 of our favorite photos from our travels. Often, when we have friends or family over, we like to set the TV to a funny picture of our guests. It's always a fun surprise!
This TV has a thin frame that looks like a picture frame. The TV comes with a black frame, but you can purchase a white or wood frame separately. I love the wood!
NOTES :
You can change how much glow there is behind the artwork. I prefer the TV to be more "matte" in order to look like real art.
If you upload your own images, they need to be cropped to 9:16. If they are not cropped perfectly to scale, the TV will add a shadow box around the image. I created an album on my phone called "Frame TV" and filled it with my favorite personal photos, then edited them all to 9:16 scale. I changed the scale of my photos on apple's photo editor (so easy!).
My favorite sources for digital downloads are Juniper Print Shop (I have several downloads!) and Etsy.
Occasionally, when guests come over, we will upload a picture of them to our TV. Ty and I love to see how long until they notice! It is always fun! (Would be great for family photos as well - especially if installed over a fireplace.) See a picture of my family below!
We love it so much that we have been considering swapping out our bedroom TV for another frame! It's not only a spectacular TV, but also an incredible way to display and change your artwork whenever you get that itch!
We highly, highly recommend this game changer!
