Hannah Tyler Home Rebrand!
Welcome to our new website! Ah, finally!
This has been a long time coming. I began blogging back in 2014. Back then, my blog was called “Quite Quaint.” It was all about home design, furniture flipping, and DIY projects like hand sewn headbands and other cheugy things. Shabby chic was all the rage, and I was busy buying rustic furniture, painting it, and of course, adding some heavy “distressing.” I photographed said projects with an old school digital camera. Those were the days!
At 19, I had picked a basic theme and created my blog. You know how many times I updated my website design since then? Zero. Yep, it remained unchanged for 10 years. I had tried to move the website from my previous host to a better host twice, once on my own and once with a professional developer. Both scenarios ended poorly so I gave up and kept working with my existing website that partially embarrassed me. I was simply waiting for the right time to try again. Naturally, I found that moving across the country while starting two new businesses with a toddler and newborn was the right time to embark on a totally non-urgent and huge project. Makes sense.
I hired Cold Tea Creative to migrate my decade old website. Janelle at Cold Tea was such a joy to work with! She was the mastermind behind our rebrand and designed a website that finally feels like me! While the timing was a little hectic, I am so glad that I reached out to her and tackled this daunting project. With the move and new businesses, Ty and both felt like a fresh start across the board was in order. New branding, new websites, and a new path forward for our businesses (Hannah Tyler Home and Beach People Properties).
It’s really the first time that we have ever truly defined our business….flipping, building, design, short term rentals, long term rentals, spec homes, custom homes…our journey has had a myriad of twists and turns and we always felt like our business “identity” was ever changing. Too, for the last decade, I worked a corporate sales role in addition to all of our many projects and my design clients. Moving to FL, everything began to fall into place. My design business unfolded rather quickly and unexpectedly and I feel immensely energized by this new direction!
It feels great to finally define our vision and put to paper…Er, webpage. We’re very excited about this new chapter of HTH and are grateful to have you along for the ride!
Soon, I’ll be sharing progress updates on the design project I have in our neighborhood! The home will be available for rent through Beach People Properties when it is completed. It’s just a few houses from the beach and is going to be a beauty!
