Round Up: 25 Beautiful Beds
When we moved to the Holland lake house, we downsized from a king to a queen due to the size of the bedroom. At first, we didn't mind the switch...well, that feeling has worn off and we are itching to go back to a king! Hey, we tried! It's hard to downsize after the king life! We will have to replace our nightstands with a narrower version, but we have decided that a good night's sleep is more than worth it! We still have our king mattress from our previous home and are simply waiting to purchase a new bed!
Currently, this inexpensive IKEA bed has worked well. It is ADORABLE for the price. The tone of the wood is perfectly beachy and suits our coastal, shiplapped bedroom. We love the attached pillows with leather straps - cute and comfortable for those nights when we can't seem to turn off the latest binge-worthy flick on Hulu. I will note that the bed is a little more noisy than other beds we have had (like this one shown at the beginning of this post, which is sturdier). The creaks and cracks from tossing and turning often wake us up. We are hoping that our next purchase is slightly more sturdy, and quiet.
We have narrowed it down to these four. This cane bed has been a favorite of mine for a while. I also love the texture of this linen bed, while Ty loves the comfort of an upholstered headboard. Leather is always a great addition to a space, which leads me to this bed. Lastly, this wood bed and its headboard cushion appears to be a more lush version of the one we currently have. I'm digging it! Which would you choose?
I've rounded up 25 beds for every budget from a variety of sources. I'm wishing we had more bedrooms in this house as I love so many of these options! I am keeping many of these in mind for future projects!
